40 DAYS... YOUR PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION

The Lenten season has begun...4o days. 40 is a significant number for transformation. Jesus went to the desert to fast for 40 days and nights. The significance is that Jesus spent time alone to understand and strength himself before continuing his journey to do God’s will. Our journey is much the same; to find purpose and meaning in our lives. To transform ourselves to live a magnificent, extraordinary life, and to leave our legacy we must spend time with ourselves. In my own life, along my journey, I have experienced success, heart break, step backs, betrayal, love and kindness. We all have, it’s a part of life! When I look back on my life, the most significant parts of my journey have been some of my toughest moments. Those moments have given me clarity and the ability to focus on what is most important to me. What is most important to me is the live the best version of myself! Our lives are so busy. Busy is the new happiness. We all are so busy and distracted, we feel stuck, unappreciated and stressed. So we run from ourselves with our smart phones, Facebook, twitter, reality TV, we eat unhealthy and we medicate our selves. We live someone else’s life without knowing who we are or what we really want out of life. I have decided I no longer want to live on other people’s terms, or live up to the standards that “they” have set for me. I have decided to use this time of 40 days to spent time with me, to be still enough to know me! I want to encourage you to do the same! I decided another person, a cookie or a cup of coffee will not “rule” my life. These things within themselves are fine to give up but I am bigger than a cookie or a piece of pie! For “REAL” transformation we must live from the “inside” out. We must know ourselves, define our purpose and focus on what is most important in our lives. I want to encourage you to join my 40\40 Challenge... Pray and \ or meditate for 40 minutes for 40 days. You can do as I am doing and meditate 10 minutes four times a day, or you can meditate 20 minutes two times a day, or one time 40 minutes a day. Very simply, slow down enough to spend time with you and get to know YOU! Then use that knowledge to transform your life! Tips to help you rise to the challenge, ask yourself: Who am I? Who am I really? What do I love \ like about me? What do I really want in my life? Am I ready for it? What needs to happen next? Being still long enough will empower you with the love, joy and wisdom to create the breakthrough to live your best life now!
